Terms of Service

Agreement to these Terms. By creating a ConAFK account, selecting “Create Account,” accessing the service, or using ConAFK, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms of Service and acknowledge the ConAFK Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.
1. Closed Beta
ConAFK is currently provided as a closed beta for testing and feedback. Features may be incomplete, changed, suspended, or removed without notice. Availability, uptime, compatibility, and error-free operation are not guaranteed during the beta.
2. Accounts and Account Security
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, and activity that occurs through your account. You may not impersonate another person or organization, create an account for deceptive purposes, or attempt to access another user’s account without authorization.
3. User Conduct
ConAFK is intended to help gamers discover and connect with other people. You agree not to harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, exploit, defraud, impersonate, discriminate against, or harm another person; publish another person’s private information without authorization; use the service for unlawful activity; upload unlawful or infringing content; interfere with the security or operation of ConAFK; or attempt to bypass access controls.
4. Interactions With Other Users
ConAFK provides tools that allow users to discover, communicate with, and arrange gaming or convention-related activities with other users. ConAFK does not control, supervise, direct, verify, endorse, or guarantee the identity, statements, conduct, background, intentions, availability, safety, or reliability of any user.
You are solely responsible for your communications, decisions, meetings, and interactions with other users, whether online or in person. Use reasonable caution, protect your personal information, meet in public locations when appropriate, tell a trusted person about your plans, and follow applicable laws and event rules.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ConAFK Interactive LLC is not responsible for disputes, misconduct, harassment, impersonation, fraud, injury, property damage, loss, or other acts or omissions of individual users arising from or connected with user-to-user interactions. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
5. No Background Check or Identity Guarantee
Unless ConAFK expressly states otherwise, ConAFK does not conduct criminal background checks or independently verify every user’s identity, age, profile information, affiliations, qualifications, location, or representations. A profile, badge, account number, online status, convention selection, check-in indicator, or other status shown in ConAFK is not a guarantee of identity, character, safety, location, or trustworthiness.
6. Assumption of Risk
You understand that communicating or meeting with people first encountered online involves inherent risks. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you voluntarily assume the risks associated with your interactions with other users.
7. Reporting and Enforcement
ConAFK may investigate reports and may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts or remove content when ConAFK reasonably believes a violation has occurred. ConAFK does not guarantee that it will identify, investigate, or prevent every violation or harmful act.
8. ConAFK Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, the ConAFK platform and its original materials—including software, source code, user interface elements, original artwork, illustrations, logos, icons, graphics, visual designs, animations, text, and branding—are owned by ConAFK Interactive LLC and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
ConAFK™, Find Your Party™, the ConAFK logo, Phoenix badge artwork, original ConAFK icons, and related original branding are proprietary to ConAFK Interactive LLC. Use of the ™ symbol indicates a claim of trademark rights and does not mean that a mark is federally registered.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit ConAFK proprietary materials without prior written permission, except where applicable law expressly permits otherwise.
Third-party game names, characters, logos, trademarks, artwork, and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners. References to third-party games or conventions do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation unless expressly stated.
9. User Content
You retain ownership of content you lawfully submit to ConAFK. You grant ConAFK a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, display, and process that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the service. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the content you provide.
10. Service Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ConAFK is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. ConAFK Interactive LLC disclaims warranties that are not expressly provided in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ConAFK Interactive LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, opportunities, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of the service or interactions with other users. These limitations apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
12. Suspension and Termination
ConAFK may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, comply with law, address security concerns, or protect the service. Beta access may also end when the beta program concludes.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as ConAFK develops. When changes are material, we may provide notice in the app, on the website, or by another reasonable method. A revised version and effective date will be posted on this page.
