Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how ConAFK Interactive LLC collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the ConAFK website, closed-beta mobile application, and related services.
1. Information You Provide
Depending on how you use ConAFK, we may collect information such as your display name, gamer tag, email address, profile photo, biography, gaming platforms, favorite games, character or class selections, convention selections, “looking for” preferences, party activity, invitations, and feedback submissions.
2. Account and Authentication Information
ConAFK uses Firebase Authentication to support account creation and sign-in. Authentication information may include your email address, Firebase user identifier, verification status, and security-related account metadata. ConAFK does not intentionally store your plaintext password.
3. Location and Live Radar
If you use Live Radar or other location-enabled features, ConAFK may process device-provided location information and convention check-in information to help provide nearby discovery. ConAFK is designed so that your exact coordinates are not intentionally displayed to other users. You control whether you check in and whether you are visible to nearby users.
4. Technical and Usage Information
We may collect technical information reasonably necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve ConAFK, such as device or platform information, app version, error information, timestamps, account status, and interactions with app features.
5. How We Use Information
We use information to create and maintain accounts; display gamer profiles; provide convention, party, invitation, and Live Radar features; enable social discovery; respond to feedback and support requests; protect users and the service; troubleshoot problems; prevent misuse; and improve the beta experience.
6. Firebase and Service Providers
ConAFK uses third-party infrastructure and service providers, including Google Firebase services such as Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Firebase Storage. These providers may process information on our behalf according to their own terms and privacy practices.
7. Sharing of Information
Profile information you choose to provide may be visible to other authenticated ConAFK users as part of the service. We may also share information with service providers that help us operate ConAFK, when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate misuse, or as part of a business transaction subject to applicable law.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
8. Profile Photos and User Content
Profile photos and other content you upload may be stored using Firebase Storage and displayed to other authenticated users where necessary for ConAFK features. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.
9. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain account and security records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Beta data may be deleted, migrated, or reset as the service evolves.
10. Your Choices
You may choose whether to provide optional profile information, whether to check in using Live Radar, and whether to make yourself visible to nearby users. You may contact us to request help with your account or personal information.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information, including authenticated access controls and Firebase security rules. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
12. Children’s Privacy
ConAFK is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us so we can review the situation.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as ConAFK develops. The current version and effective date will be posted on this page. When appropriate, we may also provide notice in the app or by another reasonable method.
